Decorated Ceramic Sherd
This artifact is a decorated piece of a ceramic vessel. The incised line
design is a prominent decoration among ceramic artifacts within this
region. Often a circle is surrounded by a series of curving lines which
tend to decrease in size as the distance from the circle increases. The
pattern typically repeats itself, with slight variation, in a band around
a vessel.
