Arriving By Plane
Visitors to Bloomington fly into the Indianapolis Airport. Bloomington is located approximately 50 miles south of Indianapolis.

Access to NREF

ISAT Hall is open between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The facility is closed for all major holidays. Authorized visitors may access the facility at any time.

Recent re-evaluation of security requirements within the United States and within Indiana University have necessitated that visitors to NREF must comply with a few regulations before entering the research sections of the facility. Accelerators produce radiation and materials that have been exposed to this radiation may become activated. Compliance with our safety and security policies will make your visit both informative and safe.
