Pricing Policy

Effective July 1, 2011

Scheduling beam time in TMR1 for Neutron Radiation Effects Testing is per minimum 12 hour day.

Beam is available between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Beam time is charged at the rate of $363.56 per hour with a 12 hour minimum ($4,359.12).

Cancelation up to two weeks prior to the run is without penalty.  After that, the fee for 12h per day applies.  Likewise, any scheduled day that is not used during a visit is charged 12h per day.

If LENS cannot deliver beam due to technical problems, only the delivered number of hours will be charged for a given day.

Setup outside of the irradiation vault is at no cost.  Charges apply as long as the room is occupied when beam is available.
