Charges and Discounts
Educational Services calculates its charges with a rate card (download a PDF 
) listing costs for various services and combinations of equipment and staff. Since costs are project-specific, our staff will meet with you and discuss a major project before estimating costs. Rates for less complex services such as tape duplication or teleconference reception can be quoted directly over the telephone or through e-mail.
Educational Services offers a discount schedule for various categories of users. Academic classroom projects receive the highest discount and are eligible for a 75% discount on eligible charges associated with television production. Major projects eligible for this discount must undergo a faculty-advisory committee review process. University non-classroom projects are further eligible for a 25% discount on eligible charges. In addition, non-University, not-for-profit projects are eligible for a 10% discount.
