The Counsilman/Billingsley Center opened in 1996 as part of the new Student Recreational Sports Center. Named in honor of the legendary coaching team of James “Doc” Counsilman and Hobie Billingsley, the 44,651 square foot aquatic center features an eight-lane Olympic-sized pool and one of the country’s few indoor diving towers.
