Ann Shea

Ann Shea is the producer and co-host of THE WEEKLY SPECIAL.

Ann is a graduate of the School of Journalism at Indiana University, and while in school, worked for WTIU’s News Forum.

For ten years she worked as a reporter and anchor at WTWO-NBC in Terre Haute, Indiana. Some of the big stories she’s covered include following and reporting on a local army reserve unit in Bosnia, and covering the trial and execution of bomber Timothy McVeigh.

The opportunity to work on a show such as THE WEEKLY SPECIAL, that provides more opportunity to do in-depth pieces, and report on local happenings in south-central Indiana fits Ann’s talents. She grew up in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and has close family ties to southern Indiana.

Ann’s husband Shawn works for the School of Informatics. The two of them live in Bloomington with their young sons Phillip and Benjamin.
