Welcome to the Raff group's website. Our laboratory is located in a brand new multidisciplinary science building on the campus of Indiana University Bloomington in beautiful southern Indiana. We investigate chemical reactions that occur on environmental surfaces such as airborne aerosols, urban infrastructure, soil, and on suspended particles in aquatic environment using spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, chromatography, and flow tube and chamber techniques. Our research is important for understanding issues related to air pollution, human health, and climate.
