Brian Nix, an Indiana University sophomore from Elkhart, interfaces with one of five electronic kiosks in the atrium of the Wendell W. Wright Education Building. Similar to the information centers designed for Epcot Center in Disney World, the kiosks provide an example of how research in human interface design can be implemented in educational environments. Nix accesses the Education Building Directory, which contains photographs and information about faculty and staff members in the School of Education, Center for Excellence in Education, and Education Library. The kiosks provide a range of knowledge from local information about the Wright Education Building and the Bloomington campus to world news.
