About the Contributors

William Rozycki taught technical communications at IUPUI and writing at the Center for English Language Training. He has a Ph.D. in Altaic studies and currently lives and teaches in Tokyo, Japan.

Heather Shupp is a marketing assistant for an educational publisher in Bloomington. She is a former reporter who moonlights as a freelance writer and editor.

Susan Moke is a doctoral candidate in the English department. She is editor of the Majority Report, a publication of the Office for WomenÕs Affairs, and a writer and editor for the Center for Reading and Language Studies.

Mark Buechler writes and edits publications for the Indiana Education Policy Center. He has a Ph.D. in English from Indiana University, and he co-hosts a late night blues show on WFHB, Bloomington's community radio station.

Karen Grooms is a writer and editor in the Indiana University Office of Publications. She is also a graduate student in the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program at IU.

Lee P. Sauer, 37, is a former teacher, commercial fisherman, and gravedigger. He is currently a reporter for a northeast Indiana newspaper.
