Bob Baird, a Bloomington freelance writer and editor, became strongly attuned to the needs of persons with disabilities as managing editor of Camping Magazine. He co-authored an article with the chief architect of the National Park Services that addressed visitor center design, including design features for persons with disabilities, in parks and recreation areas.
