Gregory HullAn assistant professor of sculpture, Hull says his sculptural objects and installations are meant to start a conversation with the viewer. To establish a common point of reference, he says, "I look for things in nature, my own history, and contemporary culture." For Hull, familiar objects such as umbrellas and bridges possess a "degree of universal wonder" that can act as a "threshold to communication."
