Undergraduate Research at IU

The following programs are some of the other research opportunities for undergraduates at IU campuses:

Universitywide

Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Partnership Grant. Offered by the Office of Research and the University Graduate School, this program provides awards to student/mentor pairs and teams to cover project costs, travel, and research equipment.

IU East

Summer Research Scholars Program (SumRS). Provides stipends for up to three students to work on individual projects during the summer.

IU Kokomo

Undergraduate Research Summer Institute. Supports up to 10 faculty-student research teams each summer.

IU Northwest

Undergraduate Research Fund. Student stipends help offset costs of independent research and creative activity.

IPFW

Undergraduate Research Certificates. Students who participate in research in math, science, anthropology, or public and environmental affairs can earn certificates in research methods and design, the history and philosophy of their discipline, advanced communication, and supervised independent research.
