Welcome
This is a milestone year for the Department of Recreation, Park, and Tourism Studies as we celebrate our 60th anniversary as a department in the School of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation. During those 60 years, we have maintained a strong commitment to research, teaching, and service as we have explored the roles of leisure and the environment in fostering healthy lifestyles. Today our department is recognized as one of the top three in the country for its curriculum and faculty.
