Mick Renneisen Publishes First Book
Congratulations to Mick Renneisen who co-authored his first book titled Recreation Facility Management: Design, Development, Operations and Utilization – Published by Human Kinetics, 2009. This book gives a detailed look at the foundations of the profession, including the defining characteristics of recreation facility management and descriptions of the duties of a recreation facility manager and the areas within facilities. Mick is currently the Director of the City of Bloomington Parks & Recreation Department and is an adjunct faculty member in our department who teaches HPER-R 266, Recreation Facility Management.
