American Therapeutic Recreation Association Grants Scholarly Achievement Award to
Dr. Van Puymbroeck
The Department of Recreation, Parks and Tourism Studies is proud to congratulate Dr. Marieke Van Puymbroeck upon her receipt of the American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA) Scholarly Achievement Award for 2009.
This award is granted annually to one member of ATRA who has contributed significantly to the field of knowledge of Therapeutic Recreation (TR). The award recognizes Dr. Van Puymbroeck’s, significant contributions to the knowledge foundations of TR, through her publications and presentations at professional and scientific meetings.
