Actions Taken in Response to 2007 Survey
We value your survey responses. Each year your judgments help guide our
plans and activities. Projects undertaken in response to the 2007
survey include:
- Wireless coverage expanded to all campus buildings and the most heavily used outdoor areas
- Students now may use Imail and Umail instead of Webmail
- Control of spam and junk mail filtering have been given to the end-user
- Increased email storage capacity
- Oncourse features and response times have been improved
- Installed 50 laptop classroom so that all nursing students could be tested at one time
- Connected the campus to I-Light, the fiber-optic network serving Indiana higher education
- Upgraded the campus network infrastructure to increase speed and reliability
- Upgraded the technology in the older tech classrooms
- Installed a laptop classroom with primary focus on the training of faculty and staff
- Office copiers are now tracked by short 4-digit PIN numbers
- FedEx Kinko’s electronic job submission has been provided via a web form or e-mail
- The web Academic Calendar is populated for an entire academic year, at one time, by the Office of the Registrar
