Deductibles and Contributions

Effective July 1, 2000 the following deductibles and contributions are in effect:
Computer (and related equipment) losses due to theft, vandalism, mysterious disappearance and related perils $1,000
Employee bond $1,000
Crime (e.g., burglary, theft) $1,000
Repeated losses 10% - 50% of the loss
subject to a $500 minimum, $10,000 maximum
Unreasonable losses 10% of the loss
Subject to a $500 minimum, $10,000 maximum
Auto comprehensive (glass breakage, etc.) $50
Collision damage (excluding busses) $100
(higher deductibles for repeated chargeable accidents - see Accidents & Cost Allocation)
Collision loss - busses $1,000
Unreported collision losses
More than 10 days has elapsed since the
damge occurred, or it is not known when it occurred
150% of the normal deductible
D&O / School Board Liability losses
E.g., EEOC claims
20% of the claim, including expenses
subject to a $1,000 minimum, $100,000 maximum
wages are not covered.
Property losses not described above are covered with a $1,000 threshold. I.e., losses under $1,001 are the responsibility of the department; covered losses over $1,000 are covered without deductible.
