Student Athletic Board would like to welcome all freshmen to Indiana University. Many students come to IU because of our rich and historic tradition in collegiate athletics. Click below to get involved.
You can find how many hours you have volunteered here! Volunteer hours are updated once a week. If you have any questions or concerns about the hours please contact a director or email us at email@example.com.
Every week the Board of Directors selects a Chair of the Week. A Chair of the Week is someone who has gone above and beyond what has been asked of them. The chair is then invited to a board meeting, given an award, and will have a quick bio, featured to the right.
Name: David Lobeck
Hometown: Cleveland, OH
Major: Finance and Accounting
Why IU?: I chose IU because of the Big Ten atmosphere along with the great Kelley School of Business. I wanted to expand my horizons outside of the state of Ohio and challenge myself amongst some of the best students in the country. All in all, I would say it has been an invaluable experience so far at IU and I wouldn’t be happier anywhere else.
Favorite IU Athlete: Scott Effross
Favorite Sport: Football
Favorite Restaurant: Taste of India
By choosing to be a student at Indiana University, you have made the decision to spend your next few years receiving a quality education in the great community of Bloomington. If you want to make this time at IU truly special, join Student Athletic Board. You will find yourself having priceless experiences, developing as a person and as a leader, and building long-lasting friendships. There were plenty of reasons why I loved my four years in Bloomington, but I can confidently say that SAB was the defining part of my Indiana University experience.
