Hudson & Holland Scholars

During their first fall semester on the IUB campus Hudson & Holland scholars are required to take X155 (Critical Reading and Research Seminar). Each section of this course, as designed by the Student Academic Center, seats approximately 25 students and focuses on the continuing development and enhancement of critical thinking, analytical, communication, and study skills. The focus of the curriculum is on an affirmation of individual identity through a diverse multi-cultural perspective. The course also provides a framework for the identification and inculcation of leadership skills and strategies. For more information, contact Charles R. Frederick, Jr., Ph.D. at (812) 855-7313.
