The Phoenix Program

The Phoenix Program serves the 800-1200 students per semester who find themselves on academic probation. The Program offers several courses designed to help students get back in good standing, and provides an opportunity for students who do well to come back and serve as peer mentors to help other students get back on track. The Program links students with the many campus services and resources designed to help with persistence at IU.

If you have questions concerning whether you need to drop a class in order to take a Phoenix Program course, about your GPA, about your academic status, or about entering into a probationary contract, contact University Division Advising at (812) 855-6768.
