Students interested in a degree program with emphasis on Underwater Resources Management have a number of options.
Undergraduate students can can apply to the Department of Recreation, Tourism and Park Studies (RPTS) undergraduate degree program in Outdoor Recreation, which has the Underwater Science Core option. (For information on the RPTS Degree contact Doug Knapp, (RPTS, HPER 133, Indiana University, Bloomington, IN 47405).
Undergraduate students whose interest are more diverse and require drawing upon courses from varity of disciplines, can apply to the Individualized Majors Program (IMP). IU College of Arts and Sciences has authorized the IMP to offer underwater archaeology degrees in collaboration with the Department of Anthropology.
