application of PIT on selected historic shipwreck sites
One of the most popular scuba, snorkel, and glass bottom
boat visited areas in the Florida Keys, with estimates of 1.5 million
visitors per year. The site has numerous 19th century sailing vessel
components, and maybe associated with the wreck of the 1887 Slobodna.

Bay Historic Barges, Lake Tahoe, California:
Dedicated
September 23, 1994 as California's first underwater shipwreck park, the
park site contains the remains of two massive barges which were abandoned in
the 1920s.San Pedro
Underwater Archaeological Preserve, Florida Keys:
One of the
famous 1733 Spanish vessels wrecked in the Florida Keys, and among the
Florida Keys oldest artificial reefs, the San Pedro was established as
Florida's second underwater shipwreck park on April 1, 1989.Winch
