San Pedro Underwater Archaeological Preserve Research
Cannon 7
This cannon is a museum quality
replica cement cannon that was placed on the
San Pedro in March 1988 to enhance the site
as an underwater museum. These cannons not
only enhance the site as an underwater
museum, but also serve as a hard surface for
which sea creatures, such as corals, can
attach themselves. Unlike Cannons 1 and 2,
this cannon does not appear to have any
damaged, bleached corals.
