One of only a few Tibetan restaurants in the United States, the Snow Lion is a rare treat that one should certainly experience
if you're in Bloomington. Owned and managed by Jigme Norbu, the nephew of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Snow Lion offers a variety of authentic Tibetan and Indian dishes.
Curries, shumai, momos, and kimchi are all on menu, as well as a range of other dishes, all at your preferred spiciness, ranging from mild to the ever fierce "chef's challenge".
Vegan and vegetarian dishes are also available, as is outdoor patio dining.
