SFT joined hundreds of Tibetans and Tibet-supporters on
International Human Rights Day to protest the pending execution of Tibetan monk and community leader Tenzin Delek Rinpoche.

  • IUSFT members drive to the BP/AMOCO Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois to protest BP's investment in PetroChina, and to ask them to divest.

    Hosted Drepung Monks
  • Monks from the Drepung Monastery located in Southern India came to Indiana University and performed on the life of the Milarepa at the Fine Arts Building in March of 2001.
IU Delgates Attend Students For A Free Tibet National Conference
  • Members of Students for A Free Tibet gathered at Duke University to discuss today's issues relating to Tibet, share ideas with one another and also discuss the coming year's events.
  • Students also attended lectures and workshops, which included:
    A lecture by Dr. Liu, a Chinese Professor at the University of California.
