Welcome to the 8th Annual Crossroads Geology Conference!

Welcome to the 8th annual Crossroads Geology Conference at Indiana University! We are excited to continue this tradition of featuring student research in the geosciences. We encourage participation for all areas of earth and atmospheric science, and from students in all stages of research!
You are invited to submit an abstract for a research presentation in oral or poster format, and to join us for informal interviews with academic and industrial professionals.
Participation in the conference is STRONGLY encouraged for all students in geology at Indiana University—there is a presentation category for everyone! This is a great opportunity to get feedback on your proposed or current research from peers and professionals in your field.
We offer monetary prizes for the best presentation in each category, in an effort to defray some small research costs and encourage promising research. Please see the “prizes” tab for more information
We offer merit-based travel grants for participants coming from out of state. Please see the travel tab for more information.
