Please refer to the essay rubric for the essays so you will be clear on our grading criteria. A copy of this rubric will be marked and returned to you with your essay.
Essays should be single-spaced (for our convenience in reading electronically). Microsoft Word is preferred (you will get your paper back in Word, whatever it was written in). Please make sure your name is also on your paper. Your file should be named "Your Last Name Your First Name Paper 1" (a paper turned in by Leah Shopkow would be entitled Shopkow Leah Paper 1). You may use a nickname, if that is what you go by.
