Welcome to my home page! I specialize in the history of the Middle Ages and historiography (the study of historical writing and the theory of history). My medieval scholarly work has been on medieval historical texts from Normandy and southern Flanders, but I am interested in and teach many topics in Medieval History and Culture. I am also active in the scholarship of teaching and learning in History.

This spring I will be on teaching B301 "The Crusades" and B352 "The High and Later Middle Ages." For course information on the crusade course, please use the link below. For B352, "The High and Later Middle Ages," I will be using Oncourse.
