Category 2b. Electronic Computing Newsletter

An electronic newsletter, whether presented as a web page, weblog, email or complete online magazine, should provide pertinent and accessible content in an eye-catching format.

Criteria

Judging will be based on:

  • first impression: approachable, motivating, inviting, clarity of purpose
  • effective use of language
  • logical organization of content
  • logical navigation system
  • cohesive, visually-consistent design
  • effective screen layout and use of graphics
  • accessible and compatible design (across major platforms/browsers)
  • meets stated objectives from entry form (specified purpose, audience level, and so on)
  • clear identification of the organization/owner of the publication
