Criteria Primary Judge Entry Form

Category 5b: General Service Campaign Materials

Many institutions are creating entire campaigns to promote special events, projects and services, such as security awareness, various IT services for an institution, new student orientation, and so on. Entries in this category will consist of multiple items, and some items may involve the use of different media.

Criteria

Judging will be based on:

  • first impression: approachable, motivating, inviting, clarity of purpose
  • obvious identification of the organization/owner of the publications
  • access to the service is obvious and easy
  • cohesive/consistent design
  • stated objectives (from entry form) are met. (Specified purpose, audience, and so on...)
  • obvious and logical content organization
  • effective use of language
  • effective use of graphics and overall visual appearance
  • effective page layout or use of the medium
