Batch Run Time Environment

BRTE is a set of korn shell programming libraries and standards used to make writing UIS batch programs easier and more consistent.

The Kuali Rice effort will provide an enterprise class middleware suite of integrated products that will allow both Kuali and non-Kuali applications to be built in an agile fashion, such that developers will be able to react to end-user business requirements in an efficient and productive manner.

Mission

The mission of the Systems Integration Team is to provide strategic analysis and ongoing support to University Information Systems (UIS) in the areas of enterprise systems development environments, component based development methods, enterprise application integration, enterprise application architecture, and user-centered design. SIT is also responsible for the OneStart and WORKFLOW projects. OneStart is a single, web-based, enterprise application portal that provides IU faculty, staff, students, and others one front door to all of Indiana University's administrative business applications. WORKFLOW (routing and approval) is a service that can be shared across applications in support of our mission to achieve a higher level of enterprise application integration.
