The First 100 Years
In 1985, in celebration of the Centennial of the founding of the department, Delbert C. Miller prepared a manuscript entitled One Hundred Years: The History of Sociology at Indiana University 1885–1985. This 60-page publication provided a brief overview of the founding and early years of the department, as well as highlights of key activities and events in the intervening decades.
