Curtis Child

Curtis joined the sociology program in 2004 after completing a Master of Public Affairs degree from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs. His research interests lie at the intersections of organizational, political, and economic sociology, and he is currently engaged in research that examines fair trade businesses and sustainable investment companies; anti-sweatshop campaigns that targeted firms in the apparel industry during the 1990s; and historical patterns in nonprofit organizations’ reliance on commercial income.
