Jennifer Christian

Jennifer Christian came to Indiana University from California State University, San Marcos (in San Diego), where she received her B.A. in Sociology and Psychology and minored in Criminology/ Criminal Justice. Her primary sociological interests are in the study of the welfare state and public opinion. She is particularly interested in how the media relates to individual perceptions about welfare and welfare reform. Additionally, Jennifer is interested in social control processes, law and public policy. Aside from her current academic interests, Jennifer enjoys cooking, home decoration and traveling with her husband outside of the United States.
