Kyle Dodson

Kyle Dodson is a fifth-year graduate student with research interests in political behavior, social networks, and quantitative methodology. He received his BA from The University of Texas in 2002. Currently, he’s working on his dissertation proposal, in which he plans to conduct a comparative analysis of over-time trends in voter turnout. He’s especially interested in the importance of people’s social networks for explaining turnout over time and across country. When he’s not working on sociology (which happens more often than it should), he spends his time rooting for the Longhorns and hanging out with friends. Accompanying him in these pursuits are his wife, Laura, and his demonic cat, Luna. Fortunately, there’s also a pug around to take the brunt of the cat’s attacks.
