Eric Anthony Grollman

Eric Anthony Grollman is currently a graduate student in the Department of Sociology at Indiana University-Bloomington. Eric is originally from Maryland, where he graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with Bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Psychology, as well as a certificate in Gender and Women’s Studies. He is generally interested in sexuality, gender, race and ethnicity, and social psychology. In particular, he is interested in the intersections of various social identities and community memberships, as well as the best ways to conceptualize such intersections theoretically and methodologically. He remains active outside of the classroom setting through his roles in the Campus Coalition for Sexual Literacy, Crossroads - IU's social organization for LGBT graduate students, and the Race and Ethnic Relations Committee of the Department of Sociology. In the few moments that he is not buried beneath articles and statistics or attending meetings, he finds relief through cooking, reading, hanging with friends, and watching movies.
