Syndee Knight

Syndee Knight is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Sociology at Indiana University. Her research interests include inequality, crime, community, family, education, mental health and illness, and research methods. Knight's work on the contextual dimensions of drug market effects on homicide was recently recognized by the American Society of Criminology for its contribution to the study of crime. She is currently working on her dissertation, which examines how families strategize for upward social mobility across generations.
