Will R. McConnell
Will McConnell obtained a BA in Sociology from Hobart & William Smith Colleges in 2012. Building on his background in social work, his undergraduate research focused on mental health and especially suicide. Since joining the Department of Sociology at Indiana University, Will’s general research interests include medical sociology, social network analysis, and network dynamics in organizational/political settings. Will’s current research examines the intersection of patient and physician networks during healthcare treatment, and also the impact of community health beliefs on patient experiences. He is also working toward an MS in Applied Statistics.
