Deidre Lynn Redmond

I received my Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Adrian College (Adrian, MI) in 2005. I am interested in how the family, particularly dimensions of childrearing and (i.e., parenthood), is associated with mental health (psychological distress and psychological well-being). I have continued in this line of research since receiving my masters in 2007. My current work examines how children in their adult years continue to have an impact on their parents’ mental health. Aside from conducting research, I enjoy attending services at my local church, working-out, and watching movies.
