Scott Setchfield is originally from the tiny village of Vermontville, MI and received his BA in sociology and Spanish from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, MI in 2008. In comparison to Vermontville and Mount Pleasant, he finds Bloomington to be relatively large, diverse, and delightful. His academic interests include stratification, inequality, immigration and simply sociology itself more broadly speaking. When not wrapped up in sociology his favorite pastimes include hanging out with friends and exploring South Central Indiana and the surrounding areas on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
