Michael Vasseur

Michael Vasseur is a second year graduate student interested in cultural discourse, social movements, religion, political sociology and the environment. He is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended the University of Minnesota where he received a BS in Sociology with minors in statistics and political science. Currently he is working on his master’s thesis which explores the relationship between religion and public views on scientific controversies in public policy. When not working on sociology Michael spends his time learning to love Bloomington with his wonderful wife Jackie and entertaining his significantly less wonderful cat Strider.
