Rivendell
Educational Archive This site includes articles, bibliographies,
reading lists, historical overviews, biographies, as well as graphical
and textual exhibits. There are also numerous links to other sites. Overall,
the site seems to be a good starting off point.
Blue Web'n Library
The gem of gems in the "keeping-up with new social studies sites
on the Net" battle. The Blue Web'n Library contains a cataloged
section on lesson plans--many of them using instructional technology! The
best part of the site is its ability to notify you via e-mail every time
it becomes aware of a new educational-oriented site on the Internet. A
definite "must" for the busy teacher in all of us.
Teachnet.com Web
site- The lesson plans generally involve some basic Internet
usage. If you feel that you are in need of more Internet practice, this
is a good place to start. More lesson plans using the Internet dealing
with higher levels of thinking and inquiry are needed.
Professor Dan
Graf's Home Page was designed to assist students in history research.
Several additional links available here and superb reproductions of art,
which slows this down a bit.
