HUB Phase II Prepares to Move Out of the Gallery Space
September 15, 2008 at 3:30 pmThe SoFA Gallery is making preparations for Phase II of HUB: A Collaboration of Art and Space. Phase II will focus on the transformation of the gallery exhibition into a new mobile art experience. Phase I will move out of the SoFA Gallery after September 27, after which the show will move to the green space next to the McCalla School, at 10th and Indiana. HUB’s platform will dock five moving trucks that will serve as mobile gallery spaces and the pieces on display in Phase I will be reconfigured to respond to the new truck spaces. HUB Phase II will illustrate the potential for new exhibitions at a variety of locations in the region, incorporating visual art and projects from a number of artists.
