Lewis Edward Parker
Ed Parker has 40 years of experience in virtually all segments of the energy industry, including exploration and production, pipelines and storage, marketing and hedging, acquisitions, finance, and strategic planning. He is currently a private investor in the domestic oil and gas industry, and is an acting consultant to two hydrocarbon-producing companies.
From 1988 to 1995 Parker was executive vice president, for marketing, plants, and pipelines at Burlington Resources, Inc. His responsibilities there included the marketing of all company production, the profitable operation of seven processing plants and gathering systems, and three Texas intrastate pipelines. Prior to that, Parker served as vice president for finance and planning at Burlington Northern, Inc. His responsibilities included the strategic planning process for seven operating segments, finance of capital needs, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and the spin-off of Burlington Resources. Before joining Burlington Northern, he worked at El Paso Corp., where he started as a rate analyst and progressed to vice president of finance and planning.
He holds a B.A. in chemistry/biology from the University of Dallas.
