We seek candidates for a Research Associate position, which can be fulfilled by a post-PhD or post-Masters student to work with Dr. Shahzeen Attari. General research interests include perceptions of resource consumption, motivations in real world social dilemmas, self/other biases in energy consumption behaviors, and smart meters and privacy issues. This appointment is a one year appointment with one additional year renewal based upon performance.
The successful candidate should have research experience in decision making under uncertainty, survey design and analysis, and behavioral experiments in the context of resource use. A strong grounding in psychology and statistics is highly desirable. The candidate will be expected work on ongoing research projects, run experiments, and design and implement surveys. The candidate will be also expected to assist in writing papers and grants, and begin new lines of research.
