Jesse Devitte is managing director and co-founder of the venture capital firm Borealis Ventures, where he leverages his hands-on operating experience to grow software companies focused on the design, infrastructure, and sustainability of the natural and built environments. He is the chairman of virtual construction software company Vico Software, was the founding investor of AEC information company Newforma where he remains a director, and is also a director of Envista Software, which provides cloud-based technology enabling municipalities and utilities to coordinate their right-of-way projects.

Prior to co-founding Borealis, Devitte served as an executive in two public application software companies. He helped grow Softdesk from a start-up into a public company that was ultimately acquired by Autodesk, where he served as the first Vice President/General Manager of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Division. Devitte is on the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and is a co-founder of The Green Launching Pad.

Devitte graduated with distinction from Indiana University with a BSPA in Criminal Justice. At IU Devitte has established two scholarships: the Jesse Devitte Disabled Student Scholarship to support students with physical disabilities, and the Jesse Devitte Endowed Scholarship that assists parents who are working their way through college.
