Amy Farrell is the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for America’s Natural Gas Alliance. She previously worked for ExxonMobil’s Public and Government Affairs Department as an Issues Advisor, providing policy and strategic advocacy advice on topics ranging from US greenhouse gas policy to process safety.
Prior to joining ExxonMobil, Farrell spent nearly a decade in the government, most recently serving in the George W. Bush White House as a Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy, handling energy policy. She also served as an Associate Director for Environment and Regulation in the Council on Environmental Quality.
Before joining the White House, Farrell spent several years at the Environmental Protection Agency as the Deputy Assistant Administrator for the Office of Prevention Pesticides and Toxic Substances, and as a policy advisor to Administrator Michael Leavitt. Farrell began her government career as a policy analyst in the Office of Management and Budget’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs.
Farrell graduated from Indiana University with a master’s degree in Public Policy.
