Stephanie Goodrid Lawson is a gift officer with the Eskenazi Heath Foundation, which raises philanthropic support to enable Wishard Health Services (to become Eskenazi Health in 2014) to deliver superior public health care for all without exception. She also spearheads the Foundation’s women’s philanthropy and public art program initiatives. Lawson served as development officer with the Indiana University Foundation on the Leadership Annual Giving Team, raising funds for scholarships and programs throughout Indiana University. Prior to becoming a professional fundraiser, Lawson dedicated her early career to human rights focused international non-governmental organizations such as the Center for the Prevention of Genocide in Washington, DC, and the International Federation of the Red Cross Red Crescent in Geneva, Switzerland.

Currently in Indianapolis, she continues to volunteer locally, holding positions Director of IT and Social Media on the Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis Board of Directors and the president of the Center on Philanthropy Alumni Association Executive Committee. She has also enjoyed serving as a guest lecturer for SPEA undergraduate nonprofit management courses. Lawson has both lived and traveled extensively in Asia, Africa, and Europe.

Lawson graduated from George Washington University in 2005 with a BA in International Affairs and Political Science and then received her Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University in 2008.
