Michael Tanney is a financial investment professional at Goldman Sachs, where he works with clients to develop and implement customized investment strategies that meet their unique needs and goals. In 2006, he joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in the fixed income bank loan area before transitioning to his current role in private wealth management. He began his career at ClearPar, a start-up company in Valley Cottage, New York specializing in the bank loan settlement process.

Tanney currently serves as an advisor on the Boy Scout Eagle Board of Review Committee. He is also a member of the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center junior board, and a member of the Screen Actors Guild.

Tanney graduated from Indiana University with a BSPA in Management.
