Annually, the Career Development Office organizes its Indianapolis trip, which takes place in the late spring. Since many SPEA alumni live and work in the Greater Indianapolis area, this trip provides excellent educational and networking opportunities for current students to meet with, and learn from, Central Indiana professionals. In the fall of 2011, students had the opportunity to speak with 40+ different organizations in the public, private, and non-profit sectors through career panels & site visits. Additional alumni and employer representatives were present at the evening's networking event. In the spring of 2012, employers included Cummins Inc., The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the Indiana Association for Community Economic Development, and the Indiana Department of Environmental Management among many others.
Please note: trips are *FREE*; but students are responsible for their own travel and most meals.
